respekt-BIODYN
23 friends, four countries, one goal
In 2005 we began our journey into the world of biodynamic wine. In 2007 Michael Goëss-Enzenberg and 11 Austrian vintners founded the respekt-BIODYN association. Their goals: further enhancement of the individual varieties, biodiversity, the health of the vineyards, the sustainable use of resources, and a healthy working climate.
Today respekt-BIODYN consists of 23 winegrowers and is one of the world’s leading groups of biodynamic wine producers. This is reflected by the many top awards received, such as the 2019 Wine Award for Friends from the German Feinschmecker publishing house. It was made in recognition of the joint achievement and is therefore particularly important for the group.

Every year in December the respekt-EINKEHR (Retreat) is held with a program of further training, tasting with respect, and the friendly exchange of news and knowledge. Other winemaking colleagues and opinion leaders in the wine scene are also invited.
St. John’s Day is an important date in the biodynamic calendar and is traditionally celebrated around a St. John’s bonfire. In June 2019 Clemens Busch hosted respekt-ST JOHN’S DAY on the Moselle with themed tastings, workshops and wild boar on the spit.
