Lagrein cake
Recipe for happiness
Ingredients:
3 eggs /// 250 g finely sifted wheat flour /// 200 g granulated sugar /// 250 g softened butter /// 1/8 l Rubatsch /// 1 pkt vanilla sugar /// 1 tsp cinnamon /// 40 g cacao powder ///
1 pinch baking powder /// 80 g chopped cooking chocolate
Glaze:
10 g icing sugar
2 tsp Rubatsch
• Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff and leave in a cool place. Cream the softened butter with the yolks and sugar.
• Mix the flour well with the baking powder. Mix together the cocoa powder, cinnamon and a pinch of salt and blend with the flour.
• Mix everything together well and mix in the wine. Finally, fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites.
• Grease a round cake tin and dust with flour. Fill with the dough, carefully distributing the chocolate chips.
• Preheat the oven to 170° C and bake the cake for 45 to 60 minutes.
• After baking, remove the cake from the tin and brush with the glaze while still hot. \\\
