Three grape varieties – Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Sauvignon – attain their fullest expression in this superb site.

Eroded porphyry of volcanic origin is the major component of the soil in our Lieben Aich vineyard. The roots of the vines delve deep into the mixture of quartzite sand and clay to extract a diversity of minerals from the porphyry. This imparts a unique aromatic qualities and tanginess to our white wines which give them finesse though also longevity.
